what color highlights!?

i want a different color like red or orange or green or purple or soemthing! my hair is really black. its medium legnth. what color for highlights? pics are very much appreciated. oh and i dress kind of preppy sometimes and kind of goth at other times so the hair shouldnt be too much of either.

I think you should bleach out sections of hair around your face. It would look really good with the contrast.

puprle is the main color that looks good in black hair it brings out your eyes and your hair also ucould make it look goth or preppy u might think of a turqouise or a pink now i know pink is preppy but if u have blck hair it can also go goth

I think orange would be awesome for this time of year!
It will probably be grown out by Christmas, than you can do red or green=just remember that with black hair you'll have to lighten it alot to get the colors to show.

I think you should get conair pro-accent. That way you can wash out the highlights whenever you want and have a different color for every outfit.

sometimes Avril lavine has those pinkstreaks,that will look cute on black hair,or just color your bangs pink,I saw a gir on a show where just her bangs were pink it looked pretty cool,or put it underneath and leave the top layer black,:)

You can get a black/blue which one of my friends did. It looks really nice because it isnt noticeable until she stands in the sun or direct light

Rainbow fool. Get every color of the rainbow. Then peole can call you skittles and it will go with anything you wear. It would be so tight.

i say a dark blonde/brown ... not to bright for preppy and not to dark for goth
