I have wondered that exact thing for many years. I can find no good reason other than they are ignorant and like to complain. I mean, the airport was there before they bought their house so if anyone should move it should be them.

Usually the cost of housing is cheaper near the airport of obvious reasons airplanes are noisy and there is usually lots of road traffic as well. Some people feel that they will get used to the noise but don't so they get up petitions to have the planes only fly between certain hours or directions.

There is a city near where I live and they passed a by law that trains are prohibited from sounding their horns when comming to a crossing. The train tracks have been there for over a 100 years yet it was only in the last 10 did it become a problem.

I guess the only answer is it is human nature to complain about a sunny day and a free lunch

Do you mean why do people move to houses that are near airports, and then complain about the noise? Basically because people complain about things. Its human nature.

First of all, it is the fastest transportation so it would really make sense for people to ride in an airplane instead of long car rides or ride a ship. Sometimes many people get frustrated because of delays, poor service and lack of understanding between passengers and crew members. And since this is the fastest means of transportation, people would risk getting frustrated rather than ride a car or a ship since it would take so long.

Uh? wish you could phrase your question properly.......

If you mean why people complain when having to travel by air..... well, some of us don't have an option, you know.... if I want to go from Mexico to Paris I don't think I have many other options, and if the trip was a hassle I have all the right to complain about it right???
