I got a mysterious phone call from a number, [phone]?

Question

Can anyone explain it?

never seen that number before

it was a text message. enclosed, "PLEASE CALL ME"

I just now got a phone call from a private number asking me what makes me angry.

Stalker much?

I Googled the number and got these two people in North Carolina:

Barnes, Talmedge & Betty Lou
Rich Square, NC 27869 222-222-2222
Bek, Ruth 200 W. Church St.
Seaboard, NC 27876 222-222-2222

I agree with whoever said it was probably a wrong number...Unless there's a reason someone would stalk you it's most likely just an error.

It probably is just an annoying scam. I would just block the number as long as it comes from the same number every time and forget about it. Telephone scams and pranks are becoming very common more recently, particularly now that there are Caller ID changers, what your Caller ID displays, may not be the person's actual phone number, however this could be used to fake local numbers it is usually used to make ridiculous numbers that have say 15 to 20 digits in them.

oh my goodness dont call could be someone who could hurt you try to ignore it at first but keep coution and go where people are for a while.and if it happens afian i would call the police or it could just be a wrong number.

try it again stay on the line. i called the number and what it is is the do not call line where you enter your phone number and they put you on the list.

obviously a wrong number.ignore it that would be the best.if it gets to be an ongoing problem just block that number.
