What are the ages?

Are they dating...

You contact the parents and let them know they are not allowed to yell at your child like that. If they have an issue with your child they are more then welcome to contact you.
If they do not listen you report this to the principal and make a report, for your records. You should make a report anyways. Contact the school's principal and see what steps you can take if the parent is to due the same thing again.

So far with the info you have given us, you haven't proven to me that there is a racial problem. Kids are kids, black/white/male/female. However, there is a problem when someone's parents get involved with your child! Please call the principal of the school immediately and request a meeting alone with him (oe her) before this escalated into something nasty. Tell the principal that those parents and their child should have no contact with you or your child until the problem is resolved (and everyone's safety and privacy must be maintained), unless they want a nice big fat law suit from you!

have a big meeting with the school priniciple and/or councler, bring in the other parents. have it out. maybe contact a lawyer especially if there were any racial slurs made. donot allow your child into class or school without parental supervision until this is resolved. be careful if it is something that could blow over, you might want to have a good talk with your child and find out what lead up to this and see if it can be resolved between the children not the parents. so many parents get overprotective and the kids end up being best of freinds thou.. good luck

uhh you kinda left out some important details... i think age is much more important than race and gender doesnt really matter either... if they are young you should confront the parent and say you dont appreciate that kind of language around your child, any older than 10 and you should let it go i think

This is not a race issue. No parent should confront a child like that. Instead, they should say something like, "please leave my son/daugther alone. Your behavior is not appropriate. In fact, are you parents around? I wish to speak with them"
