It started as a small pimple. I am pretty certain it's infected. I drained it when it became a white head, just as any other pimple. I then cleaned it with peroxide and put bacitracin on it. I went to sleep and then woke up and my nose was red and slightly swollen. I cleaned the area again with peroxide and put more bacitracin on it.

It's now two days later, and I've had to basically squeeze on the end of my nose every time I go to clean my nose and large amounts of puss come out. My nose is moderately swollen, hurts, and what's worse is the pain feels as if it's spread into my right nostril.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm planning to go see a doctor, but I just wonder if something I'm doing is making things worse.

For now, just keep the area as clean as possible and make an appointment, don't just plan on seeing a doctor. What you thought was a pimple may not have been one.

It could be if it is the first time you have used peroxide on an acne outbreak the resultant chemical reaction with the oils of your skin could be causing inflammation. You need the recommendation of a physician YESTERDAY!!!!!

Hurry up on that Doctors visit.
These days, any infection that's spreading
is cause for concern.
