I'm guessing you mean a chemotherapy treatment Kelly. It depends on which drugs are given, but usually the nausea is over within 24 hours. Most of my patients did not have nausea since there are excellent meds to prevent it these days. Most people will have some persisting weakness and loss of energy, but that varies so much from person to person. Many people are understandably frightened and depressed having to go through chemo. Positive attitude may help. You will establish your own pattern. Good luck to you. If you did not mean chemotherapy, please explain what treatment you have had. Heme/Onc MD retired

What kind of treatment? Chemotherapy? Electroconvulsive shock? Laser skin resurfacing? Botox?
