Sorry to burst your bubble...

Sandals are not proper for golfing. (Etiquette wise)

Most courses also have it written into their dress code. Only sneakers and golf shoes are acceptable on all that I know of.

I have a pair of golf shoes that are sandals. I wear then to play most of the time.The course I play at does really have a dress code.Some courses do have dress codes so check with the course you are playing at. If there is no dress code I say wear what you want to wear.

No. It's not the fashion as well as function. Golf shoes have spikes on their soles which give your feet a better grip on the green.

better a good golfer with sandals ,than a bad one with high fashion golf shoes!

it is if you are at a golf course which does not have a dress code.
