I have always wanted another little brother or sister. I only have one little sister who is 13 months younger than me. I have an older sister who is 21. (I am 13.) I don't know why...but ever since I was little I wanted a lot of brothers and sisters. We have the room and all...my mom said her body can't handle another, but would love to adopt another. My dad doesn't want to. He said, "My diaper changing days are over!" Lol. (My mom is 46 and my dad is 47.) Do you think that's too old to adopt another? Just curious. I just think it would be neat to have another brother or sister.

aww, we sound a lot alike. my mom wanted to adopt a baby an dad didn't want to, he said the same thing, about diapers, lol. I always prayed that I would have a little brother. When I was your age, my prayers were answered, a two yr old boy I used to babysit got taken away from his mother, who had an abusive husband and a drug addiction. she named my mother as the person to care for him. So now 3 yrs later, theyre on the road to adopting him, and I love him to death! hes annoying but also adorable! it is really neat to have another sibling that you can look after and teach things to. I don't think your parents are too old to adopt, people that age do it all the time. lol now I wish I had a sister my age. maybe your wish will come true! :)

I am from a large family. However the size of the family is not what makes good. I can tell you this with all my heart, your family is the very best part of your life. Learn to cherish and love each and everyone in your family. They are all you have and life can be cruel sometimes. Here's a little story for you:

My brother was the third oldest one in the family. He came to our mom one day and said, "Mom we have so many kids in our family if we didn't have so many we would be rich." Without missing a beat my mother taught him a very valuable lesson. She said, " Yes, you're right. We should have stopped at two."

Your family is the richness of life and it is love that holds it together. If you can share the love that your parents have for you with everyone in your family you will soon realize that your family is just perfect the way it is.

Let your parents live their last days enjoying the fruits of their labor... not raising another child. Even though children are blessings, they're also very expensive and take up a lot of time. You are getting older and when you are more mature you will be able to have a child of your own! Patience my girl *hugs*

I think that you should let that go, your parents need to stop raising kids, they are almost 50, it's kind of messed up for them to start all over again with the diaper changing. Now it's time for them to enjoy life and rest for working so hard to take care of you and your siblings, I bet they are tired! think about that!!

Since you won't be paying for it or responsible for it, you really have nothing to say about it. See if you can volunteer at a day care or playground or some other type of community service.
