I MUST lose 8lbs in 1 month. I weigh 142lbs, Im 16 year old and I am a female.My height is 5'4
What are some things to help me lose wieght? PLeasee help me with things to eat. what to eat and what NOT to eat. Thanks!!

I was 225 myself at my highest. The way not to do it is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did....lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won't help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don't eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i'm going pretty well if i don't say myself. 90 LBS isn't anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice. Try the Scarsdale Diet. You only stay on it for 2 weeks, and lose about a pound per day if you're very strict with it. The most I've lost in 2 weeks was 12 lbs, and I kept it off for a long time (until I started eating junk again, oops!) It's been around since the late 1970's, and a lot of people won't try it because it can be hard to follow (restrictive, no substitutions) You can find the menu free, just Google Scarsdale Diet. run around your schools track, or just run, this helped me lose weight.

plus no soda, and no more junk food.
i know you will have cravings, but if you give them up for about a week, you will notice that you don't have as much cravings anymore.

plus before i go to bed each night i do situps, you can start with 25, it doesn't take that long, and you can work your way up to 50, or even higher.

i know this doesn't sound fun, but hard work is the only way to lose weight healthy.
it helped me, i've lost 2 inches off my waist so far, and over 5 lbs, and it hasn't even been a month yet.
and this should help you lose those 8 lbs.

ok NO MORE soda and sugary drinks ( only in moderation) drink water .. yes water

cut down on junk food and empty calories and get whole grains

cardio exercise is a big help
