I too am an Atheist. Unlike you I don't say, "God does not exist". I say, "I see no evidence to support the existence of God". Should I ever be presented with real evidence I am more than willing to change my mind. The problem is I insist on REAL evidence, not a quote from the Bible or the opinions of some believers.

The main difference between me and many other Atheists (I think) is that I would gladly embrace the concept of God. There are few things I would like better than to know someone was driving this train we call life. The problem is I base my ideas on facts, not beliefs.

I used to be an atheist before but thankfully not now, 100 % believer now and the atheists here that have not converted yet are only here for one reason, to learn more about God because they are fence sitters still not sure if they want to jump in. REAL atheists like I used to be would never hang out in a place such as this that is full of religion. in their questions and answers they will deny it but that is only so their friends that see their questions an answers will not make fun of them.they will put up a very strong anti-God front but a front is all it really is.....100 % here are secretly fence sitters,..no true atheists here.....not even one...not even you.......and NO I was never here in R & S or any other religious place as an atheist. real atheists do not do that.......stop fence sitting and jump in...the water is fine !!!!!!!

It takes just as much faith to believe in atheism as it does to believe in God. To make the absolute statement “God does not exist” is to make a claim of knowing absolutely everything there is to know about everything – and of having been everywhere in the universe there is to go – and having witnessed everything there is to be seen.

Of course, no atheist would make these exact claims. However, that is essentially what they are claiming when they state that God does not exist.

The FSM exist...too bad I'm kind of an agnostic, so I wouldn't say that all gods "doesn't exist", I prefer the term "man-made".

I believe that we don't really know yet if all gods are man-made, all I know that most(if not all) gods seemed to be man-made or imaginary.

Prove God doesn't exist and I'll believe it, prove God exists and I'll believe that.
But for now... I don't know.
To me Atheism is _just_ another belief, nothing more, nothing less.
