Why are atheists in the Religion & Spirituality section?

I swear, every time i log on i see that question and it bugs the hell out of me... Especially since when you type in a question the system automatically does a search for you and brings up all of the times a similar question has been asked right below where you enter the question. 9 times out of 10 it's a Christian too. Doesn't reflect well on them. It seems like the dominionist mindset is at work on Y!A as well.

I too get tired of the same questions being repeated over and over...and over...and over...When you go to post your answer look at the automatic search y!a does for you to see if it has been answered recently.

I've been kindof disappointed with the lack of real questions on here lately. There are alot of "prove this" or "prove that" "if you really believe" "Atheists, how can you not...??" "Christians, why do you...??" Most questions are geared at attacking another group lately, and not at truly trying to understand some theological text or religion.

Nothing of real interest that is worth puting the effort into answering :( So sadly, I've been spending time in other sections, hoping that some good Q's will pop up eventually.

I just saw a question posted by an Atheist quoting remarks, made by a president of Atheist Alliance International Margaret Downey, that Atheist brains scan differently than believers. “So, is the brain of an atheist different from the brain of a believer? We have actually found some evidence that there are differences between people who are very religious or spiritual, and people who are nonreligious, said Newberg”, the person who scanned Downey’s brain.

Personally I don’t know what Atheist believe. I thought I did, but then you go one place where they pronounce belief but then I go to another where they don’t. HELP!
Or maybe this is one of the reasons why this question is asked so much.

Maybe you can figure it out here is the posting:

It happens in other sections, the answer depends on the question though - like some people seek help and others are out to bully, belittle and harass and they ask"Why are atheists in the Religion & Spirituality section?" Some of the christians think that they own this section and that it isn't spiritual and they are wrong on both counts

Some are cut and past for multiple accounts to drive up points.

Why would they do this?
Why do they have braille on the Di-bold Tabs keypads at drive up ATM's?
People are weird, every last one.
Admire the entire collection.

I don't know. I think the people that do it have had their brains turned to mush by their religion.

I ask myself the same thing everyday. They probably can't think of anything else to ask us.

Because they're no smarter than they were the day before.

In fact, they maybe a little stupider.
