At this point, I would say you need to put a little more faith in humanity.

We do live in truly unique times. Anyone with a thorough knowledge of world history can confirm this. Even the possibility of nuclear war and global warming testify to this fact.
But there will be a just and final settling to the debate. The conclusion draws upon the destruction of the wicked and transformation of the good. It wont matter what a person's opinion states then.
Humanity will not be 'wiped out'. It will be judged. Mankind will get what it asked for first. That is much death and destruction, pain and suffering as it continues to follow Satan as its god.
There are hard times ahead, so much to the extent that if Yehushua doesn't get here, there wont be anyone left alive. Secular, atheist, Buddhist, Islamic or any other pattern of thinking cannot keep men from mass murder, torment, and self destruction. Only obedience to God's commandments can. Only the truth can give life. Everything else leads to death. As we are about to witness.
Do not be afraid and have much hope because it DOES get better. There will be a new earth "For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.." Isaiah 65:17. There will no longer be debate over who is right and who is wrong "every knee shall bow ... and every tongue confess..." Philippians 2:10-11. There will be no more evil - "they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I do these things," says Yahweh... We will be one family in peace and happiness.
God bless

The war.... pretty simple. we beat them till they are sick of fighting, then we beat them some more just for the trouble they put us through.
and if the world ended everytime people predicted it would have been over before america was founded and probably discovered (plus you have the fact all John was stuck on an Island and the romans wouldn't let him write anything bashing the romans or saying anything against the romans.... All he had was the abillity to write religious text (the romans didnt care as long as you submitted to there will) and most every event in revelations corresponds to an acctual event that happened in the time he was imprisioned on that Island.)
Yeah we can, we can break there society, and make them bleed until they beg us for mercy. That will put an end to the fighting. thats how you put an end to all the fighting. Someone attacks you you beat them till they beg you for mercy. If they do it again you beat them dead. Thats why its better to not fight.

There is only one to get a winner. That is if we can put all this crap aside and work for one goal. I, for one, would like to start with the U.S. we need to get rid of the divide and start working toward goals that really matter to everyone, Get good paying jobs, cooperate responsibility and patriotism, work on the medical system and all our infrastructure to make it all safe and affordable to everyone, bring us back to the forefront of technology and manufacturing. When America is great the whole world is better. Unfortunately America is not so great anymore there is a problem that is dividing our formerly great country it stems from religion. Our political system is bogged down trying to make laws for and against gay marriage, abortion, religion in public places, etc. we are getting as bad as the sunnies and shites. when will the religious right realize the issues the worry about are not important, for the most part do not affect them, or that they Then and only then will we be able to work on making America great again.

That's not true. Many Christians have turned to atheism and many atheists have turned to Christianity.
I think radical Islam needs to be stamped out just as much as radical Christianity needs to be stamped out.
So far every generation has believed that they were in the end times. I don't think that this is any different.

The founders of this country have already answered your question, which is embodied in the First Amendment to the US Constitution: The first principle is no establishment of any religion, i.e., separation of church and state. The second principle is freedom of religion and tolerance of all beliefs. If we follow these principles and extend them worldwide, there should be no need for religious wars, nor should there be any determination of a "winner."
Or perhaps a better way of looking at is is that we can all be winners if we practice tolerance and keep religion and politics separate.

It would take an unimaginable force to wipe out humanity. For better or worse we are like cockroaches. It is assumable there will be a population reducing event. Hopefully after that we can get our act together.
EDIT: To the person above me. Crocodiles have been alive for millions of years with out fear of extinction. Same with sharks. Apex animals don't seem to go extinct as easy.

Atheist do not try and "convert" people. We are not a religion. There are many ways the world may end, but that has nothing to do with the religious fighting that goes on. People have to stop believing that there imaginary friend is worth killing for.

Where there is hate on both sides, how can there be a winner? If anyone wants to email me, forget it. Hotmail won't let me see anything. In the left coloumn it shows how many emails, but I can't access them. I keep clicking on inbox, no good. Back to the Q, sorry. It would be best to eliminate all negativity. Try to start with a clean slate. I know, easy to say...

No-one wants to convert you to atheism. No-one. They want to stop you and your kind acting against the interests of those of us who simply don't agree with your view of the world. It's like trying to get someone who doesn't like cinnamon to like cinnamon. Pointless. Leave us alone and we can get on fine.
How will it all end? Well, every other species in the history of the earth has gone extinct and has eventually had no-one to care for or remember them. When we go, however we go, the same will apply to us.
So no, there are no winners. Deal with it.
