They like the country divided. They think most of their issues are between good and evil rather then a conflict of ideas.

You are incorrect. It is not that we want to practice our religion publicly, but we don't want to have to hide it either. Our country was formed based on the freedom of religion and everyone should be able to practice whatever religion they choose as privately or publicly as they like. We resent any traditional religious based holidays or symbols that are now taboo.

I don't know where you got that idea, as that isn't what is written down in the bi-laws of the United States. It is freedom for ALL religions. And honestly as a Pentecostal Christian, which some would view as radical. I have no problem with any one worshiping anything they want to. As it is their choice in life.

The only thing is, don't expect me to hide my Christian faith to suit your needs. As it has a habit of showing up in all that I do.
And that includes the part called the Great Commission that is mentioned in the bible.

Now will I be in your face if you don't except Christ? No, as that isn't the way to get along with people.

What's wrong with have prayer in the school, creationism taught as science, science classes skipped because of belief? Why should we let those gays sin and totally forget about polygamy! If you need an abortion go to Mexico or some seedy back room and have it done like the sinner that you are!

(this is a partial list of legislating morality, not a serious statement of my beliefs)

First off it is spelled feel. Secondly its not that it has to be practiced publicly but God wants people to gather in groups to worship him. When two or more are gathered in his name he is there! We also believe in the word of God which asks us to share this and his love with everyone. Don't you share your beliefs publicly whether it be you don't like something or do? Same thing just different subject matter!

The feel that way because it is their mission to spread the word of God. By publicly practicing their religion, and trying to get religion in the schools, etc, they are fulfilling that mission. Whether most groups are after more money, or genuinely are passionate about what they believe in, one way of achieving that is to talk to as many people as possible.

Examples please?
A short answer is that they are the same as everyone else, atheist promote no God Christians promote that there is a God. I don't know many who practice it publicly though, I know I don't go out shouting in the streets when I pray.

I have tried explaining this many times on here and no one can seem to get it. Everyone votes their beliefs. Everyone tries to legislate their beliefs. Christian or non-Christian it does not matter. You vote the way you do because of the beliefs you hold. Everyone does.

I received Jesus in my heart in my room.Jesus and I have a personal relationship. It is beautiful.I try to listen and do what the Holy Spirit tells me to do.I am not perfect .Not even close. That is why I need Jesus. It is only by Him am I going to heaven. There is no way I could ever be good enough. It is only because of Jesus. He is the truth the light and the way.
