Jesus didnt promise us a life where everyone would like us, infact He taught us the opposite, that the world would hate us. He said " the world will hate you for my sake, because it hated me first." The question I ask you, are we better then our Master who suffered and died for the same thing that you are suffering for. I praise God that I am counted worthy to suffer for His' names sake... God Bless and count it all joy.....

Cause your the majority. Your supposed to bend over and take it.
I've acctually seen a lot of positive christian comments on this board. We do have an Atheist infestation of sorts. (its ok if they are here, its not ok that they just go and insult everybody.
since christianity is the biggest boy on the block it has the most faults, and due to America and tradition We have the most to say against most things to say against it. We live with christians breathing down everyones neck everyday. The most you have to worry about is the annoyance of Jehovas witness's or mormons maybe once a month and west boro baptisits.(we didnt like the injustices we saw in christianity and we heard the call of our own faiths.)

Usually its because the people are more familiar with Christianity than other religions. They know enough about Christianity and Christians to be able to point out stupid beliefs, inconsistent actions, ludicrous claims, hypocrisy, narrow-mindedness, obnoxiousness, and the many other unpleasantries endemic to that faith, (or at least quite a few versions of that faith).
Basically, any group of people that claim that they are "saved" and everyone else is "damned" can expect to be viewed as egotistical morons, simply because that type of belief is both egotistical and moronic.

Everyone gets targeted on this site, i think what causes problems is when certain individuals, i.e.-many christians on this site, say that their way is the only way and that everyone else is going to burn in hell. It's good to be firm in your beliefs but attacking or ridiculing others is not appropriate. I have gotten several unkind and very rude answers from some christians on this site.
the best rule of thumb, and it is even out of christian new testament,"do unto others as you would have them do unto you." funny how many seem to forget that verse.

Hey, we have equal opportunity meanies! Plenty of people say mean things about Muslims, Atheists, Wiccans, Satanists, Pastafarians, and devotees of the Invisible Pink Unicorn. Did you want to say something mean about non-Christians? Would it make you feel better? We can take it.
Seriously: Christians generically are far less targeted than fundamentalists. In general, those of us who get mighty tired of Christians telling us we are slaves of Satan, mired in sin, destined for Hell, etc., etc., etc., may occasionally lose our self-control and tell you what we actually think of being treated like this. We might even go so far as to say what we think of the people who treat us like this.
Much of that gets replaced by asterisks.

It's most likely because they had bad experience with Christians in the past. The best thing to do is show them that not all Christians are alike and love them through actions and words. And remember what Jesus said in the Bible:
10Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
~Matthew 5:10-12 (New International Version)~

Only some Christians are; those who say they are Chosen Above ALL Others, who happily say everyone else is going to hell, who insult everyone else. And they are in the company of other believers who insist THEIR faith is the One Truth.
MANY Christians are not judgmental and rude and hateful towards others. I almost never see them ridiculed.

I'm not sure of everyone's motives.
If the christian can't handle a little cyber teasing, they should be grateful they did not live in first century Rome.
We'll be fine, if it's too much, shut off the computer for a while and take a break.

So I guess you haven't seen all the negative questions about pagans, muslims and atheists then.... At one time or another every 'group' takes a shot. However, some not all, christians seem to have a persecution complex and think they are the most targeted group. Interesting they think they have a bulls-eye on their back when they make up the majority religion in my country.

You make me laugh...Christians are the target du jour. Not only du juor but for always. People who flatter themselves as intellectuals and true thinkers are especially fond of blasting away. It's all in good fun, right?
