OK I know of younger girls that go for older guys, all with money and men that go for older women normally good looking, is there more to this or isnt there, this is your chance to confess :)

Interesting answers everyone! lonewolf I don't think at the end of the day you can help who you fall for, homemakers have the hardest jobs to do I think but there is nothing wrong with women having independance and working outside the home too.

My man is 12 years older than me, but he's broke. : (
I was attracted to him because he knows there is more to life then just clubbing and playing beer pong like guys my age.
Plus he's super hot! : )

When I was a young women, I didn't go for the older guys. Ten years + was about my max and typically I dated guys within just a few yrs of my age.
People of any age can have money...that's a nice bonus, but it doesn't make a relationship. People of varying ages are good looking...that's a nice bonus too, but it doesn't make a relationship.
I've got everything I need, I don't need a man to provide it...but I'd like a man in my life to share things with and have fun. âº

Sam k, Times and people have changed dramatically from generation to generation ! Females have become more driven and less feminine. I am a 47 year old gentleman and if I hook up again it will be with a smaller statured older girly girl lady . Who is a homemaker !

From a man's perspective, I think many girls are attracted to older guys for 2 reasons: Maturity and also I think there is a father figure that they represent. If you our a younger guy, I guess the reason for attraction to and older woman is because of a mother complex.

I only date guys that are older then me but it has nothing to do with their financial situation. I am 23 and on average I date guys that are about 5 years older then me. I tend to get along with them better because they aren't quite so immature.
