What color sceme should I use for my new room?

I'm moving and I need to choose a color scheme for my room. I have a pretty large room with a black queen bed, black dresser, and black chest. I want my room to be relaxing and sensual. What colors should I use for my bedding and accessories?

If you're going to paint, I would choose "something blue" by Sherwin Williams. This is best color for the bedroom b/c it's relaxing & serene, plus all of your black furniture will look stunning against the light blue.

Then, for your bedclothes, I would choose something very light & feminine, like this:

Other accessories would look lovely in *very* light pink & white.

I would go with a mixture of blues. blue is a very relaxing color to me. If you are going to paint the walls, then there are a lot of light blue colors to choose from. If your walls are white then go with a mixture of blue and white or black and blue is nice too.

2] add peach or ivory or print bedding, curtains and throw pillows
3] get brass frames for art and mirrors and lamps
4] ivory shades for lamps, maybe dust ruffle
5] get peach, ivory, and gold small accessories
6] add a plant

with black i would stick to reds. like deep reds and maroons. and maybe a red light bulb and burn some musky candles. definitely sensual.
