of GOD down our throats to turn around and say *There is no GOD?
Maybe for you their is no GOD, you live on the planet do your thing then die, turn to dirt end of your for eternity OKAY- that is fine for you and your beliefs HOWEVER every person who believes in GOD does not see there destiny as you see it and absoloutely does not see the end like you..

So is it fair to say Atheists are ultimatley turning to dirt and Believers are going to the White Light in the presence of GOD by both standards of belief?
Aren't these both true based upon each groups truth and reality?

I don't see any atheist complaining about postings on an open forum. In fact, that seems to be exclusively done by Christians (the ever-whiny "why are atheists on R&S?").

However, I do see Christians trying to make their god-beliefs into law, into science in school classes, while waltzing all over other religion's sensibilities, and complaining loudly of persecution if anyone dares disagree with them.

No, I don't think so. Let me begin by identifying myself as an Agnostic who DOES believe in God and who believes you can't prove it either way. I also believe in respecting other people and their beliefs (or lack of beliefs), and not in equating all Atheists with Dirt. There are many of them who are far more moral than some so-called Believers. As someone with a Christian background, I know enough to remember the old quote "Judge not, lest ye be judged." Spiritual belief and moral integrity are a life long journey and struggle for all people. Someone who is an Atheist today may have a change of heart and mind later, and visa versa. This spiritual development process is entirely personal and cannot be forced on someone. At best, you can only set a shining example for others to admire and follow.

Regarding your question, how many atheists have ever come to your door to tell you that god does not exist?

"So is it fair to say Atheists are ultimatley turning to dirt and Believers are going to the White Light in the presence of GOD by both standards of belief? "

Guess we will have to die to find out. Which is why I wont take the risk that their MAY be something after life, and instead I will focus on living this live to its fullest without regrets.

No one can debate a point until someone has asserted an idea first. YOU tell us there's a God, we respond that there isn't. We would not be responding that there isn't unless you had first asserted that there was, understand?

AND, no they are NOT both true, since they are mutually contradictory. There is either an afterlife, or there isn't. You cannot have it both ways, sorry. YOU tell us that there is, and YOU tell us how YOU think you attain eternal happiness and WE respond by saying that we believe you're wrong and that until you prove otherwise, we're going to CONTINUE to believe you're wrong. Ok? Does this clear things up for you? I'm trying to use simple concepts here but you continually seem to be missing the basic points.

I say there are no such thing as deities. That is a statement. You say there is a such a thing as the christian deity. That is a statement.

However, I leave mine at a statement where you will use your statement to judge and condemn others for not believing such as you do. You attempt to impede on a persons freewill. That is shoving your beliefs down others throats. Now, not all christians do this, not all atheists leave it only to statements. But if you are going to generalize a whole group of individualistic people, you should expect it to be done in return.

Atheist O'hare helped force the bible and prayer out of school.
The aclu is constantly working to remove anything christian fromt the public life of the USA.
Atheists here are always mocking,*****,LOL,reporting those that mention the bible, prayer or Jesus.
I have been here (R&S) a long time and have yet to see one proof of atheism.I certainly don't see tolerance or attempts to give great answers.

That is all fair in love and war but you type faster than me but you are as bad at spelling as me, so lets start a bad spelling chat group and leave all this endless theological debate to the experts and we can talk instead about interresting stuff like science fiction or real science whatever, cool?.

We atheists are just pissed how religious people violate separation of church and state? Religion tries to enforce its views on abortion, gay rights, war, prayer in schools, "Under God" in the flag, etc. If you guys could understand that religion has no role in the public sector, only the private one, in today's world we would stop trying to "shove beliefs down your throats."

Can't both be true. We only tell the ignorant christians the truth. We don't want christians values forced on us. some christians are fine but there are many who want us to do the things they do even if we don't believe what they do. We aren't fighting. We're fighting back.

Of course it is Hypocritical. It is like being told to be tolerant of everyones personal choices, (if it feels good do it attitude) but no one is tolerant of your beliefs. The word tolerance is misused to make people with morals look pious.
