And given that in the Modern Brythonic tongues (Breton, Cornish & Welsh) there is no "soft C" sound. Would It be fitting in ritual circumstances to pronounce the names of deities such as Cernunnos, Ceridwen, and Latinized deities such as Cocidius, Condatis & Clota with a "K" sound?
Even her in the Uk I`ve heard several pagans call upon "Seridwen".....

"Seridwen"? ::shudders:: Dear my.

Definitely the hard "K" sound for the native names. Latinized names, you might stumble across some that've been softened, but I'd have to say that the hard sound is a good rule of thumb.

I've (thankfully) never heard anyone call her Seridwen. The hard K is not only acceptable but correct for Ceridwen and Cernunnos. (I'm not familiar with the other three). Just like its kelt, not selt, no matter what the American basketbal team (the Boston Celtics) thinks.

DIRECTED to the first responder (I wouldn't even repeat their name, probably doesn't even have a passport!)

This is an International forum.

EDIT - the person that my response was directed at has been deleted. (not by me I'd like to add!)
