Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me. Anybody trying to get in by any other means will be treated as a thief and a robber and will be cast into outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth, where the flame is never quenched, and the worm (the people there) never dies."
But, please understand the REST of the story. Jesus said "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son that anybody who puts their trust in Him (in Jesus) would not perish, but have everlasting life. God did NOT send His Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it. Whoever believes that God sent His Son into the world will not be condemned. Whoever does NOT believe that God sent His Son into the world is condemned already" and why is that? because "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God", but sin pays us in death "The wages of sin is death"
So, you see, we don't go to hell just because we don't believe in Christ. We go to hell because we have sinned (broken God's Laws - see the list of 10 Commandments).
God is offering us a way of escape through His Son, Jesus Christ, who died to pay the penalty in our place. The Scripture also says, "how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation?"
We can't earn our way into heaven, because we have already earned a place in hell, but God will grant us a pardon if we accept that Jesus did it for us.
God wants us to acknowledge our guilt and turn from our sins, and then He can forgive us and cleanse us.

it incredibly is exciting that a lots larger share of persons have faith interior the existence of heaven than have faith interior the existence of hell. in accordance to the Bible, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, hell is in simple terms as actual as heaven. The Bible needless to say and explicitly teaches that hell is a actual place to which the depraved/unbelieving are despatched after dying. we've all sinned against God (Romans 3:23). The in simple terms punishment for that sin is dying (Romans 6:23). considering all of our sin is finally against God (Psalm fifty one:4), and because God is a limiteless and eternal Being, the punishment for sin, dying, could additionally be countless and eternal. Hell is this countless and eternal dying which we've earned by way of fact of our sin. The punishment of the depraved lifeless in hell is defined for the era of Scripture as “eternal fireplace” (Matthew 25:40-one), “unquenchable fireplace” (Matthew 3:12), “shame and eternal contempt” (Daniel 12:2), a place the place “the fireplace isn't quenched” (Mark 9:40 4-40 9), a place of “torment” and “fireplace” (Luke sixteen:23-24), “eternal destruction” (2 Thessalonians a million:9), a place the place “the smoke of torment rises continuously and ever” (Revelation 14:10-11), and a “lake of burning sulfur” the place the depraved are “tormented day and evening continuously and ever” (Revelation 20:10). The punishment of the depraved in hell is as never ending by way of fact the bliss of the righteous in heaven. Jesus Himself shows that punishment in hell is in simple terms as eternal as existence in heaven (Matthew 25:40 six). The depraved are continuously difficulty to the fury and the wrath of God. those in hell will renowned the suitable justice of God (Psalm seventy six:10). people who're in hell would be attentive to that their punishment is in simple terms and that they by myself are to blame (Deuteronomy 32:3-5). particular, hell is actual. particular, hell is a place of torment and punishment that lasts continuously and ever, without end. compliment God that, by way of Jesus, we can get away this countless destiny (John 3:sixteen, 18, 36).

NO only from a fanatics view. A true intellect Religious or not knows enough than to believe such stuff.
SO then all the Hebrews, Buddhists, etc are all going to burn? Why? If they have done harm to no one and lived a good life with good morals why should they burn in hell?
I do not believe this. There is no hell or Hades or any place like that. I DO believe in other dimensions and parallel worlds before i will believe in hell. Life can be hell enough to have to think thier is a worst place.
It is arrogant for any one group to say they are correct and every one else is wrong. Respect for all should be shown and in the end they will see who is right and who is wrong or if all are wrong.
So only zealots will find a passage and twist it to their needs, no where does it say non beleivers will burn in hell. Sleep safely now knowing that I hope.

The phrase "burn in hell" is not found anywhere in the Bible. Just "fiery lake of burning sulfur" and only in Revelations.

We read in Gods Lawbook the Bible in John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life.
But God has more to say:
The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness. (Proverbs 15:9)
For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. (Psalm 1:6)
The Bible teaches that at the end of the world all the wicked will come under eternal punishment in a place called Hell, and this time may be very near. There is much Biblical evidence that points to the fall of 2011 as the end of the world.

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. Revelation 10:5-7

Jesus spoke more about hell while He was teaching than he spoke on heaven. Why? Because He was warning people that if they didn't accept His free gift of Salvation, that's exactly where they would end up - for eternity.
Read the first 4 Gospels in the New Testament. That will tell you everything you need to know about salvation and hell. I urge you to seek out the redeeming Grace of Christ. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. NO man comes to the Father but by Me."
He said it, Christians believe it and that settles it.

No. Hell is a mistranslation. The bible speaks of "The Lake of Fire," which was a garbage dump in Gehenna.

More accurately, I think that those who do not accept Jesus atonement for their sin will be tossed into the lake of fire. I'm at work, don't have the actual scripture.
What you do is buy a New International Version with a concordance. Look up "hell", and it'll direct you to the verses and contexts.

The sulfur lake was for the ones who do, say, think of..evil deeds..who deserved it..
When a person admits Christ follows Christ, that person will enter the kingdom of God. A place like paradise, or heaven.

Dear Larissa,
John 14:6: (Jesus speaking) says: I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father expect by me.
Going to the Father is the way to have a relationship with God and the Bible is pretty clear that those who have a relationship with God are heaven-bound and those who are not are hell-bound.
The Bible does also share God's heart in: John 3:16 - God so loved the world- that he gave his only begotten son, (and then in John 3;17- it tells us but men chose darkness because they love their own way). In other words- God has provided a plan of salvation but man would much rather choose their own plan.
2 Peter 3:9- The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but all to come to repentance.
God's heart is that peoplewould come to Him- and not to desire to send people to hell- but he gives people that freedom to choose for themselves.
Kindly,
Nickster
