I am going to be doing a school project and I want to find out if there are any good photographers with websites that I could use as an example to research

Well, there are a lot of ways to find a photographer but maybe not with a website.
First, you should find some famous photographers. That way, you will get a lot of info for the project. Then, you can type their name in a search engine like Yahoo! or Google to see if they have a website.
Or, you could look at photo sharing websites like Pbase.com or Flikr.com and try to find a photographer there. (not the best way but it's worth a try)
Finally, you could look in a magazine, book, or newspaper and see who took one of the photos and then search their name.

Good grief! Do your own web search.
Try "wildlife photographers"
Try "landscape photographers"
Try "commercial and advertising photographers"
Go to the library and get a biography of Dorthea Lange or Margaret Bourke-White or Edward Weston or Ansel Adams or Robert Capa.
