Look at Karl M up there defending terrorists. He can go to hell. Rock on for this question. Only whites can be terrorists as far as America is concerned. When there's a hate crime on whites done by blacks, the blacks are seen as "lost" and "needing help" and they've "grown up in poverty"

They are both wrong. They are also both country and time specific.
For example, in many countries in Africa during the colonial period, white racism towards blacks was a major problem and after blacks gained control of their countries black racism toward whites became a problem. As far as religious terrorism, at the moment, in the Western developed world, muslim terrorism does seem to be the prevalent form. A few decades ago, with the Irish "troubles" at their height, christian terrorism would have been the dominent version.
Once you get to the actual battleground areas, the definitions become more difficult. If an explosion kills people in the West Bank is it terrorism? Does it matter if it's muslims or jews who are killed? Does it matter if it's a Palestinian rocket or an Israeli rocket? Does it matter if the person firing a rocket wore a uniform? Does it matter whose uniform?
Different people define terrorism in different ways and muslims, christians, and jews have all had members who have practiced some form of terrorism this year. Picking one religion to blame is not productive.

It's not okay to blame white people as a whole for racism. I blame the racist individuals, just as I blame the terrorist individuals.
When people say they blame "White America" that is shorthand for blaming the power structure in America that provided a legal basis for racism.
Additionally, the reason that minorities aren't as widely vilified for their racist acts is because minorities can't institutionalize racism the way a majority can.

Its not ok to do either of those things, every race can be racist, anyone in the world can be terrorists, there are American terrorists also, so can we just blame America, or white people for it too? I don't think many people are trying to blame white people today, but don't you think the deserve something for what there ancestors went threw? They have been oppressed for hundreds of years, i think that warrants a little bitterness

These days, I've seen more BLACK people showing racism towards white people!
When my black adopted son accuses me of being a "white n*****", and when I hear the kind of music he listens to on CD, it seems that there is a lot of reverse racism going on!
Racism of ANY kind is wrong. So is terrorism. They both hurt innocent people. War is different, soldier fighting against soldier, both of whom joined knowing that they were putting their lives on the line for a cause bigger than themselves, whether that cause is right or wrong. But terrorism I equate with cowardice - attacking innocent civilians!

It's not okay to blame *any* one group of people for something that only some of them did.
Basically... society is wrong.
You make a good point though. Some people are afraid of being seen as racist, so they don't talk about minorities being racist.
Why do you capitalise "white?" Just wondering.

Good point, but I think both are wrong. We should not assume that all Muslims are terrorists and non-whites should not assume that all white people are racist.
I must admit that after 9/11 and the incident that occurred in Beslan, Russia, I have found myself being almost scared of Middle Eastern people. I know that most of them are probably good people, but I can’t seem to overcome the images of girls being raped with machine guns in Beslan or people burning to death in the Twin Towers. To know that people of their religion committed these horrific acts, automatically makes me suspicious of them. It makes me think of bad things happening to my children. I imagine that the way you and I are feeling about Muslims is how black people must have felt in the 1950s and before. They knew that all white people weren’t bad, but they probably could not help but hold resentment for whites in general and to fear further oppression and violence.

it isnt OK to do that and most decent people dont ,however the racists are the ones who get on the news because getting people pissed of sells cars and soap. WHat your told has nothing to do with reality.,
If you were to read the writings of Marin Luther King he says the same thing it is not ok for any one to be a racist including his own race.

Define terrorist.

During the American revolution the colonists seeking independence were called terrorists.
Many people in the middle east have been terrorized (or killed) by USA weaponry.
