Im doing a speech for a class and i need thoughts on when sex ed should be taught in school, like what age, and do you think they should be taught more than just abstinence.

I think, considering the age at which kids become sexually active these days it should be taught freshman year of high school. I think they should be taught more than abstinence; only by being open and honest about it and not giving it a stigma will kids not adopt that schema that you don't talk about sex with adults. In addition, I took a class in college called Philosophy of Love and Sex, not until then were my eyes opened to some facets of the subject that helped my perceptions of love and affection develop into something more mature. I think something like that should be part of the course.

abstinence only sex ed is a joke, and it should be taught around 5 - 6th grade, that's what 10ish? The biggest problem is at such a young age you get way more giggles then actually hey get pregnant and your life is screwed.... well could be screwed, mine wasn't.

These days at like age 8. Kids are getting busy way too early these days. They should hear everything, because this whole abstinence thing isn't working.

well I'm in 7th they tought me in 6th its somthing very natural and everybody should now about it
