In Isaiah, it is recorded that he said "I will ascend to the throne of God, I will" etc (sorry, I don;t remember the exact quote, nor the "address", but it IS in Isaiah, and after lucifer uses "I will" 6 times, God says, "But I will cast you down" ...

I hope that helps.

A-HA! - I found it for you:

Isa 14:12-15 ASV "How art thou fallen from heaven, O day-star, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, that didst lay low the nations! (13) And thou saidst in thy heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; and I will sit upon the mount of congregation, in the uttermost parts of the north; (14) I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High. (15) Yet thou shalt be brought down to Sheol, to the uttermost parts of the pit."

Looks like, on second reading, it was only 5 "I will"s.

He used the word I when he rebelled against The Lord for control of Heaven. He was repelled, and today he is still "I" in a different location. There will come a time, and it is coming soon, when he will be counted as just another member of his "location", when he is sealed shut in his Hell for 1,000 years, and then for eternity.

I think it is in the Koran that when God made man he told the angels to bow to man. Satan loving God so much refused to bow before anyone but God.then God said be GONE>
I like that one. Satans refusal to change his pride his I sent him to hell. Much like the pride of most religions.Refusing to look past anything but there old and unchanging dogma. They turn there back on the new word of God. That is to me the defintion of fundementalism pride and refusal to change.

Oh and what according to this story what is it that sustains satan in his hell. The memory of the voice of god saying BE GONE>

Moses 4:1
And I, the Lord God, spake unto Moses, saying: That Satan, whom thou hast commanded in the name of mine Only Begotten, is the same which was from the beginning, and he came before me, saying—Behold, here am I, send me, I will be thy son, and I will redeem all mankind, that one soul shall not be lost, and surely I will do it; wherefore give me thine honor.

It continues in verses 2-4:
But, behold, my Beloved Son, which was my Beloved and Chosen from the beginning, said unto me—Father, thy will be done, and the glory be thine forever.
Wherefore, because that Satan rebelled against me, and sought to destroy the agency of man, which I, the Lord God, had given him, and also, that I should give unto him mine own power; by the power of mine Only Begotten, I caused that he should be cast down;
And he became Satan, yea, even the devil, the father of all lies, to deceive and to blind men, and to lead them captive at his will, even as many as would not hearken unto my voice.

--------------------
Lucifer, another spirit son of God, rebelled against the plan and "sought to destroy the agency of man." He became Satan, and he and his followers were cast out of heaven and denied the privileges of receiving a physical body and experiencing mortality.
