The Catholic Church is not against natural forms of birth control.
Judeo-Christian tradition has taught for thousands of years:
1. Single people should be celibate.
2. Married people should be faithful to each other (adultery is wrong).
3. Married couples should welcome God's gift of children and, therefore, artificial birth control is against the will of God including sterilization (the snip).
Here is the United States Conference of Catholic Bishop's website on Natural Family Planning: http://www.usccb.org/prolife/issues/nfp/
With love in Christ.

No as would dbe considered a form of birth control. However that said there has to be worse things....and personally I cannot see God punishing anyone for getting the snip.

The Catholic Church's rule is that sex is only allowed between married couples for the purpose of making babies. Anything else is potentially sinful.
So you can have the snip - you just can't have any more sex afterwards.

If you are talking about getting your tubes tied or getting a vasectomy then the answer is no.
The only two acceptable forms of birth control are abstinence and natural family planning aka the rhythm method aka the calendar method.
If this is not what you are talking about then I apologize and am lost.

Nope, it would be altering the body "God" gave you. Being created in His image, why deform it? It would be cutting your body for an unnecessary surgery.
Leviticus 19:28
" 'Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD.
May God Bless all who respond in this forum and keep you in His Unfathomable Mercy. In the name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord, I pray. Amen

No if you are referring to a vasectomy. We do not "use" our spouses for sex selfishly. We try to always be open to sharing our love with children as God provides.
