Would it help in any way since I can control my speech most of the time.

I wouldn't because it may not work for you. I'd go with a good speech therapist of Self Therapy for the Stutterer by The Stuttering Foundation of America

Those devices don't work for everyone. Read more at http://www.stutteringhelp.org/Default.aspx?tabid=67. A better way is to learn to control it as you mentioned. You might work through the book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" published by The Stuttering Foundation of America as that book is often used by speech therapists and is what helped several of my family members. You can find it in the Foundation's estore or in many public libraries.

i used to stutter alot and occasionally i still do but if there is something to help stop it i think its worth buying
