I'm an atheist, and quite frankly, I don't feel like it's anyone's responsibility to parent another person who doesn't think critically as an adult. We need to ensure that children learn critical thinking skills so that once they reach adulthood, they can deal with issues they face and "deals" that they are offered with skepticism and an eye toward weighing the evidence.

I think so. There's a film called "End of the Spear" detailing (and providing a hagiography of) a missionary group being killed by the "savages" they intended to Christianize, and how the wives and sister of the missionaries returned to finish the job. A real anthropologist gives us the truth behind the legend (link below). They do more hurt than help in most cases because it isn't about understanding the culture, but changing the culture to fit what they want.

Er - is it immoral to close the living room curtains prior to sexually abusing your children?

Come on - how long are you going to post arrogant and presuptuous questions? How long will you continue to tear down the straw men you build up in the vanity of your own imagination?

Why not ask a legitimate question for a legitimate answer? Or are you THAT shallow, that you don't have an honest question?

Morals only ever seem to apply when the bigot ssay so like when they are attacking people and stuff, when you worry about it in relation to kids then morals don't seem to apply

Well seeing how there is no such thing as an innocent person so then a person can never immorally present the Bible according to your standards.

No. Absolutely not.

By the way, "credulous" DOES mean "ready to believe".

It's moral and appropriate.

Edit: I find me to be credible...most of the time.
