They will not tell you that you are not being hired due to the tat, but it will stop you from being hired at some departments. They can also tell you if they hire you that you have to keep it covered at all times by your uniform. Long sleeved shirts can get really hot when it is 100 out!

IMO the drawback with such a lot wrist tattoos that I see is that they're too low to hide with no trouble utilizing such a lot ways proposed akin to bracelets, lengthy-sleeves (it suggests whilst the sleeve rides up), and except you're a PE instructor wrist bands are a lifeless deliver away. As a ways as interviews you're proper well concealing makeup can duvet a tattoo. Go with a most sensible satisfactory makeup manufacturer and also you will have to be well. The higher query for you is that if you're hired by means of a institution district that does not permit obvious tattoos, is the way you duvet it in the course of paintings. I'm certain you will not be dressed in computer virus-up jackets all day, daily, at paintings. Obviously you can have got to maintain the defense needs of PE in brain. Still this should not be a gigantic drawback. As a PE instructor wrist bands are common fare. :)

The interview process can be the critical part of your employment, and police officers are always in the public eye. Your appearance can definately effect your ability to get hired. Although there are no laws against tattoos, I would be very careful about having one that is visible.
