To all you people who saying she should move your crazy. yes after your lease is up you should move but if you get documents from a vet that say you have a boxer lab mix they only way you can be kicked out your apartments after that is if you do a DNA test and they see it if you get the papers that say he is a boxer lab mix he will be able to stay and when someone says you have a pitbull the apartments will send a note out stating their is a dog that is whatever color your dog is that looks like a pitbull but that they have papers saying the dog is a boxer lab mix and to please stop complaining if people was to keep complaining they would tell you to find a place and move no broken lease will follow you they will just let you out your lease and to the dumb person that said they will take your dog and put him to sleep is retarded they cant take your dog unless he hurts someone dumb people in this world sorry for any misspelled words are anything this is a touchy subject for me I am a retired lawyer and still fight for the pitbull and all bully breeds if you find a vet that loves the breed they will do it if your dog is not aggressive if he is they will not do it lol people are so funny its nothing wrong with bending the rules to keep your dog when all these people have done something in their life time and also we fought slavery all these years and now all they doing is stereotyping and basically being racist towards dogs that have such loyalty they would kill for their owners and if you bring up I seen or heard about a pit turning on its owner know this its always another side to every story

I raise chihuahuas and I get so many people angry when they ask me the question "are your chihuahuas Teacups?" and my response is always the same..."There is no such thing as a teacup chihuahua, poodle or anything else!" Next question"well, can you tell me how big they will be?" My response,"Could the doc that delivered you tell your mom how big you would be?All I can do is tell and show you the size of the parents".... I am sure I run a few prospective buyers off,but I can't help it..at least I'm honest!! I have a 3 lb female who had 2 babies 5 years ago.I kept one,and sold one.The pup I kept is now 9 lbs.The pup I sold weighs about 4.Go figure!

I have a patient at the clinic were I work part time that paid $1000 for a Yorkie-Chi. $1,000 !!!!!!! I thought to myself, "do you know how many shelter dogs that would feed, spay and neuter?" What a dumb azz! It's just a mutt with a fancy name.
And then there are the golden doodles, labradoodles, Yorkie-poo, chiashitz, blah, blah ,blah. The best "dumbest" question I've ever seen here on answers was "Where can I find a Teacup Dane?" A what!!!??? People are inherently stupid when it comes to animals, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Someone posted a question about Golden Eagles that had me rolling on the floor = Golden retrievers and Beagles.

I still want to breed non shedding Demitasse Labs.

I HAVE a 14 yo Cocker Basset Mix. Mind you she's 14 so I'm WAY ahead of this hybrid BS...
She's our C@cker Hound or Basset Spaniel.
She really is an awesome dog.

http://www.zoontown.com/CameraPics/darcy/img_3503.jpg
This is what Darcy thinks of all the copy cat Hybrids out there.

EDIT:
Sorry I didn't realize it was you! I remember that question and just laugh and laugh...
Plus, you just got slammed for the question. That was even funnier.

Edit2:

There is a person on YA who I won't mention other than he or she is a Grand-POO-Pa (if you get my drift)... But the Profile and the dogs they breed - Lions and Tigers and bears! Sad to say, it's for real.... Makes me sick.

That MagnaDoodle Picture is hilarious.

Edit3:
Either someone hates me or doesn't like the pix of my Darcy. Oh well.

Miniature Australian Shepherds are a breed. It has a breed club and shows etc. Breeders are breeding them to a standard and doing health checks.

A Small Australian Shepherd
During the 1960’s, a Californian Australian Shepherd enthusiast acquired several small working Aussies from the rodeo circuit. Intrigued by their compact size, she worked with a veterinarian to develop a breeding program in order to preserve the trait, which quickly resulted in litters producing both dogs only 13 to 14 inches tall as well as larger Australian Shepherds. The smaller dogs eventually became known as "miniature" Australian Shepherds.

The mini Aussie soon attracted the attention of experienced Australian Shepherd breeders and eager newcomers. Lines were researched and educated breeding to full-size Aussies was and is strongly encouraged to diversify the gene pool and improve conformation and type of the mini Aussies. Herding instinct, intelligence and drive were preserved and many mini Aussies continue to work a variety of livestock today.

Some my friend and I made up:

Pogo: Poodle/Gordon Setter mix (for the new Toy group including Magnadoodles)

Sharpie: Shar Pei/Beagle mix (doesn't wash out too well)

Crock-a-Shihtz: Cocker/Shih Tzu mix (or, as Bassetnut put it - crocker spaniel/shihthead mix)

Harry Potter: Harrier/Rottweiler/Poodle

Abbyful asked an awesome question with a joke - I won't post those, but I love 'em.

ETA (more I think of):
Bassoon: Bassethound/Coonhound

Here's a Pogo:

This are a few actual names for so called "designer dogs".
Dorkin - doxie/yorkie
Boggles- Boston/ beagle
Cavachon- Cavalier/ Bichon
Frenchton- French Bulldog/ Boston
The whole thing makes me sick, I wouldn't pay more then $50, for these mutts. People will continue to breed them as long as people are dumb enough to pay $$$$.

As a professional dog trainer for over 16 years, I have to tell you my strong opinion that you need these group classes for obedience training. http://OnlineDogTraining.enle.info/?9Ail

Other pet warehouses are there to get you to buy their products and hang around their strore. And their trainers are their employees...never forget they have an agenda. Most of the trainers have very little education--if they had actual training and skills they wouldn't be there making just over minimum wage--trust me on this. But even if they did have experience and talent...a group setting is a terrible place for learning to take place. It's distraction training and it is the LAST phase of training not the first. You wouldn't have your child try to do their homework in a toy store, would you? Of course not...the level of distraction would be too high! It's the same with dogs. Having said that, these classes can be an excellent way to socialize dogs...but not to train them. And while they appear to be cheaper than a professional trainer...you have to attend many more sessions to get the same results because of the poor learning environment--so you wind up spending MORE money for less training than you would with a professional. Save your money and go to someone who actually knows how to train dogs. OR, read books and try to train your dog yourself. There is nothing they train at a Petsmart or Petco that you can't do yourself with a couple of hours of reading.
