We do pay. We pay for the Internet access.

The Internet is used largely by the World Wide Web. Information is provided in both paid and free content models.

It has always been based on the Dozen of Eggs or 10+2 model.

This means that in order to be most successful (read: get the most traffic and make the most money) you give away about 83.3% of your content to build traffic, and then reserve the most beneficial content (about 16.7%) and make people pay for that.

The New York Times does this. Their newspaper is free online, and gets lots of traffic. But they have their best and most popular columnists as part of 'Times Select' which you have to pay a fee to access.

You already pay for internet service so it should be free. But welcome to the real world of the internet. There is more crime and money scams on the internet than crime on the streets of all the world. Our gov't. better get control of the net before things get way out of control. There's way too much crime on the so-called super info. highway. It should be called the super highway of crime and deception. The world was a much safer place without the internet. So wake up people !

It should only be paid information if it is well-documented and official, for example something through Lexus Nexus or Google Scholar.
