To answer the question, a lot of people STILL believe in a conspiracy. You'll never convince them otherwise.
Thanks for sharing that article. It was right on target.

although my decision for first answer may well be emphatically no, I do learn conspiracy, and have come to a end that purely approximately constantly holds actual: while interpreting the objective for the perception of a conspiracy I generally be conscious a actuality someplace in the breakdown of reasons that would not ring actual. That actuality could be a word taken out of context, someones misstatement some historic incident or something that has surpassed off that truly did no longer. as quickly as i'm in a position to perceive those/that actuality, it is going to tear down the conspiracy one piece at a time. something as risk free as taking a politicians word out of context is extremely elementary to do, and until you're conscious of the completed lot of the assertion you have a tendency to have faith what you're listening to tremendously if it particularly is popping out of the mouth of somebody who you think of is to smart to be caught up in a faux conspiracy. an identical holds actual for a historic journey; until you comprehend the historic past you have a tendency to have faith what you go with a quite psychological man or woman is asserting. those that make their case for the conspiracy are everywhere, they do no longer seem to be all nut jobs the two. extra in many cases they have been confident by ability of that one handy lie that's the alternative of an inconvenient reality.

I loved that story, god it would make a great movie someone should do a script, I was in stitches here reading it, David C at nascar.com really got it right... I still say no matter how good or bad a driver is, its hard to drive crappy stuff, and that is what DEI has right now total Crap..... Teresa is not sneaking in there at night nor is she hiring someone to do terrible stuff to Jr's engine, she maybe be a "B" but she isn't stupid, why would she its about owners points as well... She can just sit back and count the days till Jr is gone, hope she will be happy....and chokes when he is winning at HMS next yr.

Ignorant fans!? Well lets just pray all jr's ignorant fans are better team mates than you.....
I happen to be a dale fan and personally am disappointed he did not make the chase but figured that was written when he announced his leaving DEI. Fact is I said to my room mate he would not make the chase now the day he announced his departure. My roomie is a smoke fan so we are having fun with the toyota stories. Bou time they got a real driver behiond the wheel.
And oh yea. One more thing. This chase format sucks! Jeff's performance got him the huge lead he had and to have all that erased is BS! And who was the benifactor? UMMMMMM that would be his driver and team mate JJ!

For anyone to think that DEI owner Teresa Earnhardt had anything to do with Dale Jr.'s motors expiring, that's such an outlandish comment, it's hard enough for manufacturer's to build motors that last, that to even think one could build a motor that would expire with say, 7 laps left to go in a race is just absurd. Better luck to Jr. in next years CUP series.

I am a diehard #8 fan but this conspiracy crap is out of hand, Teresa maybe a ***** but there is no way other DEI affiliates would let her do that. Jr has had engine problems way before he made his decision to leave DEI. The reason for Sat. night...he drove the crap out of that car in the last 30-40 laps, but as for conspiracies..come on

Come on now, are you telling me this racing...but don't be hard on the pedal..you might break the motor?
GIve me afriggin brake man, this is racing, not grovery shopping, I dont believe in the conspiracy thing either, the DEI motors have not been fantastic period, and some were his fault, like Watkins when over reved the motor during practive, but richmond, that thing should not have gone there, its was pulley...or at the end the lack of a pulley.
The fact is motor failure is not the fault of the driver, it is the fault of the builder, you Jimmy was driving conservatively runing off to 1.5-2.0 second lead?

For you non - mechanical people, yes it is racing but there is a way to drive without driving your car into the ground. No conspiracy, no " bad luck " . You can have part failure because of the amount of stress put on parts. But most of all the way a driver uses or abuses the equipment matters most. Afterall , they have been building these engines the same way how many decades now?

Here's another article about the "conspiracy theory". Too bad it isn't true. It would be easier to believe all that than just plain bad luck!
