Refuse to fight him.
I know it sounds weird, but by fighting him, you're giving into what he wants.
Talk to the teacher. The principal. Everyone who will list about this bully.
Tell your parents.
Get the whole school against this bully.
Take him down with kindness.
Chances are his home life is crap, or he's over induldged and he thinks he can bully anyone.
Don't give in! Walk away.
You will be the better person.
You NEVER have to be violent.
You could embarrass him in front of everyone by being kind.
I was bullied as a kid.
I remember telling the kid "I feel sorry for you. You must feel so bad about yourself."
I felt like a wimp, but let me tell you, in the long run it paid off.
He's spent his adult life in and out of jail.

Although school is for learning, bullies do exist there. You have to stand up for yourself. If you have no other way out, then fight him, and don't quit. If he "kicks your a$$", make sure that he knows he has been in a fight. If you beat him, then he probably won't bother you again. If he beats you, and he comes at you again, than fight him again, until he knows that you won't give up.

walk away. i've met a lot of bullies over my lifetime, and the best way to handle them is to either 1) ignore them, or 2) "kill them with kindess". this last one really freaks them out, so its a personal favorite of mine.
when he calls you a name, reply sweetly "well, that's a shame that you think i'm [whatever]. i think you're a wonderful person". you don't have to mean it, but say it like you do. he won't know what to say!
also, tell your mom or dad! you shouldn't have to "brawl" at school. school is for learning and hanging out with friends, not for watching over your back waiting to fight.
good luck!

Punch his lights out! No, really, just try and walk away. Tell him that he's not worth getting in trouble over. If he keeps it up, tell your parents or a teacher.

It may seem dorky, but walk away. If he kicks the crap out of you,go to a teacher/princapal. I mean if you really needed to,you could give him a smack and run(jk!).

Scream as loud as you can and I'll bet you someone will try to help you. the monitor asks "Why did you scream??" then point to the bully and say "he was calling me names and bullying me!!!" then the monitor will help you

Make him think that you're crazy, then he won't want to fight you.
