I think its smart! Whenever I found out a guy I was with had a condom on him I always ask why they brought it and feel like they just knew they were getting some. But its not even like that. Lets just face it, Men are always thinking about sex and are always waiting for the opportunity to have it. There is nothing worst than getting ready to have sex and not having a condom. You either have to do it without one or be upset and not get any! ITS BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY!!
keeping them hidden is a good idea

Well....if she's in your bedroom, then she pretty much knows what's going to happen next. So the condoms shouldn't be a surprise. But probably still better to have them hidden in a drawer or between the mattress and box springs.
See - thats the difference between guys and girls. They get offended by something like that - whereas if we saw a girl at a bar with a diaphram clipped onto her belt buckle - we'd all be fighting to buy her a drink.

It's definitely not sleazy, but it DOES sound a little uninviting and as though you planned it. Try putting them in a different spot like on a shelf in your closet or a cupboard in your bathroom (a private place where you're sure nobody will go snooping).
I can see where you're coming from, but I can also see why these women are offended by the condoms being so available.
XOXO,
Laurie

If it was me and I saw them in your drawer, I'd assume you were a player and would not even waste my time having sex with you. Keep them out of sight somewhere that no one will find them (like a jar in the kitchen cabinet). To have them handy is being smart because these days you never know. Unfortunately, most women will take offense to seeing a drawer full of them and will wonder how many other women you are sleeping with. I bet if you did put them in a jar with blow pops, they would never even notice.

I really doubt that is a intelligent thing to do, and yes it offends some girls who think "OMG...he brought me home just to F me? Ugh what a sicko" type of thoughts.
What i really recommend is that you move this "condom" pile somewhere else or just keep a lil baggy somewhere far away from the bed. When nesscesary, just walk over there and put the jimmy cap on if your girl wants it, that way she knows you are offering her safe sex and you just dont have it there in a drawer next to the bed (thats just kinda werid)

It is smart - it's about protecting yourself and the company you keep, because she doesn't know where you've been, and more importantly, you don't know where she's been. More than half of the STD's out there go undetected - their symptoms take months even years to surface. In this day and age, you'd be stupid not to have protection. It's not about scheming, it's about being responsible, and if someone doesn't understand that, well then maybe they have no business going back to your place

I'd say its smart. Its better to have them close by in the heat of the moment than to fumble through your boxers inside the drawer looking for them then you suddenly remember that you left them in the bathroom, so that forces you to leave the room. Then by the time you get back to the bed for some loving, she left you a little note saying, "You took too long. Maybe next time." Ha ha. You get my drift.

It looks sleazy because they are right next to the bed for easy access like you use them all the time. It gives the impression you are frequently having sex. Try putting them somewhere a little further from the bed as if you have them stored.

Put them somewhere else, not by your bed. If you happen to be getting intimate with this girl, ask her if she has a condom. If she says no, tell her you think you may have one; go rummaging around for one, then check your stash (make it a small stash and keep the extras somewhere else, in case she comes with you), pull one out, and come back relieved.
I think it's smart, but I can see how other women might view it otherwise.

Congratulations. I would say you are thoughtful by planning for the unexpected. In reality all of we men are living proof of the statement that we can do nothing right. Whatever we do is wrong, wrong, wrong. This is why I carry a little notebook in my pocket with a crafty little picture of a pissed off duck smoking a cigar walking along; under him the caption reads, "Every day of my life forces me to add to the list of people who can kiss my a s s".
