I think they are and rightly so . I mean they are waisting tax payers money putting the woman in jail for a salty burger RIDICULOUS . they need to get over themselves .

You need to look further into that complaint. There is a lot more to it than just salting a burger.
First of all, you could make a pretty good case for intentional food tampering. Second, some people are sensitive to salt, and this could in fact make someone ill. I also suspect there is probably a history between the employee and the officer. I don't think its fair to judge this case without all the information.
