I have food allergies, and react, sometimes quite badly, to a LOT of foods, as well as a lot of airborne allergens. I take Loratadine (Alavert, to be exact) every night, but I was wondering if anyone knows if it's okay to take something like a Benadryl if I have an allergic reaction to something during the course of the day?

Be careful with drug interactions. It sounds to me like your allergies are not under control. Read labels carefully so that you avoid all food allergens that give you a problem. If you have not been tested for your environmental allergens (the airborne ones) then see an allergist or immunologist. They can perform a simple skin test to identify the offenders and then counsel you on how to avoid exposure to your triggers. If you do indeed react in your words "badly" then your allergist will prescribe an Epi-Pen to be used in allergic emergencies. Loratadine (the generic name for Claratin) will NOT help with food allergy. The only thing that works with that is avoidance.
