when someone agnostic or atheist finally finds God and discovers their spiritual path....but NOT in your religion or according to your scriptural version of God?

Do you think God can only be found in YOUR choice of holy scriptures or books or beliefs, traditions etc?

or do you just feel happy they found God, in whatever way God chose to be revealed to them?

I feel happy when I see anyone making good choices in life, living in an honest and sincere way, and trying to make some sort of difference in their little corner of the world. I know people from all faith walks who are doing this - and atheists too.

As a Christian, I think God is capable of all kinds of things - things we cannot even imagine. Who am I to say he doesn't reveal himself any other way than the way I understand him?

If one accepts that God is loving, God is just, and all things are possible with God, then it seems to me, you inevitably find the logic in believing that Jesus can not the sole path to salvation.

Yes, I know what the gospels say, that Jesus is the only way to the Father. But that does not mesh with the idea of a just God.

Also, I can not accept the idea of "believe as I believe or you believe wrongly."

For sure, I don't know all the answers. But I do firmly believe that God moves in my life and reveals truths to me in his own time. So, my belief has changed over time.

All else I turn over to God. Especially those things which I will never know the actual answers.

So, I am happy when someone finds a spiritual path. I leave it to God to communicate any "course corrections" for that person.

WIth Regards

In a way, yes and no...I would never be mad or insulted that a person didn't "choose" the same faith as me - maybe a little disappointed or sad just because I know the blessings a person and family can have if they are faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints... but I think too that those who do have a testimony of the Lord, no matter what religion, will one day (most likely during the millenium) accept the fulness of the gospel.
But, I think anyone who has the Lord in their life will have a better life because of it.

None of the above, except maybe a bit of disappointment. But I respect their choice, and wish them the best.

No.
Yes.
? Not sure.
Because I'm ... not sure what God they think they've found.
So, I pretty much don't know ... just keep plugging along answering the questions I do know, and trying not to answer the ones that I don't

I would be very happy! As long as they accepted jesus into their heart as their savior, and lived for him. Then...yes, I would be happy. Thats the main thing anyways.

No. Jesus knows His sheep, and He has lost none of them.

The question is, whether or not you wish to be part of the fold. That is entirely up to the individual.

John 10:27
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
