i don't know who he is, but i think he's a sophomore, and im a senior. I always see him staring at me in the halls. It freaks me out. I want to say "take a pic it lasts longer", but i don't want to be as stupid and rude as he is. He's one of those weird popular kids, i typically keep to myself, but i don't stick out like a sore thumb. So what do i do to get this kid to stop staring at me. It makes me really uncomfortable.

Seriously, just talk to him. Maybe there's a reason for him staring (he likes you, he has a shrine devoted to you in his closet.... etc.) I used to have this problem, too, and I went up and said "hi!" and was just really friendly, and now we're great friends! He might be really shy, so keep friendly conversation for a while and then mention that you've noticed him staring at you in the halls. Ask him about it, and depending on his answer you might be able to slip in that it makes you feel uncomfortable.

Make a point of staring back. Look at him right in the eyes. He'll probably get intimidated and stop. Plus it'll let him know that you know he's been staring without you having to say a word.

go up to him and ask him; " What's your name? I've noticed you looking at me, Do I remind you of someone?"
That is unless he's really, really creepy looking.
Why not ask around and try and glean just what is his issue?
lol!!
I think I would stare back as the others have suggested but then again if he is so weird as you say and so so creepy you staring at him might lead him to believe something which isn't true!

Either that or he is trying to weird you out, but unless he does that a lot, it's that he likes you.
Why not go up to talk to him and say "Um, can I help you?"....but nicely. You'll figure out what he wants very quickly.

Stick your tongue out at him. It will completely catch him off guard, and he'll realize that you see him being wierd and staring at you.

I'm guessing that he likes you and doesn't know how to show it appropriately. You can simply recognize his admiration, or ignore it. We don't usually pay attention to people we don't like.
