Thirty-eight percent of that group believe that Arabs did not carry out the 9/11 attacks. These data, combined with the rising religious conservatism of young Muslim Americans, have led some experts to argue that differences between Europe and America have been overblown, that affluence and education do not inoculate a society against radicalization. "This idea that all those who are middle class are exempted from extremism has always been false," says Geneive Abdo, author of "Mecca and Main Street." "The leadership of the extremist movements have always been highly educated Muslims."

I had to mention this because the liberals and Muslim converts always say Islam is a religion of Peace. Also they tell us that terrorist attacks are isolated incidents and don't reflect on Islam. Similar polls were done in other countries and the results were very high. So What is difference if you keep telling us Islam is all about Peace, when majority of Muslims all over the world keep saying Suicide Bombing is justified, So hard facts here guys.

when Polls were taken in Egypt, Morocco and Saudi Arabia the number was significantly high. Ranging from 90-97%.
I am tired of Liberals and Muslims saying America kills innocent iraqis. Read the newspaper for once. The Sunni Muslims kill the Shia Muslims and the Shia Muslims kill the Sunni Muslims in Iraq.

It proves that even with an education people can remain ignorant. Some muslims insist 9/11 wasn't the work of muslim extremists. Why then did Bin Laden take credit for it? Don't tell me these same muslims think Bin Laden was part of the 'inside' job. Insane theory. It's sad that bin Laden still encourages women and children to strap on bombs while he cowers in a cave! What a heroic man.

I think if it was reported that 26% of all christians believed that bombing abortion clinics is justified, you would see a hugely different story being told by the media. Suddenly, 26% would no longer be downplayed as a small number. They wouldn't be talking about "the majority of christians are peaceful". They would be talking about the fact that 26% is a HUGE number of people, and there would be an OUTRAGE toward christians in this country. But we don't see that with the muslims in this poll. We see the media downplaying the size of 26%, and saying that the poll shows "most muslims are peaceful". It's a double standard. The fact is, 26% is a huge number of muslims. We're talking about millions of people. Worldwide, that number is even bigger. Statistically, we're looking at a significant problem with Islam. It is NOT the religion of peace.

That is very different than your claim that 26% of American Muslims think 9/11 was justified. 26% of YOUNG Muslims think suicide bombing (Not 9/11 in particular) CAN be justified.

Since your question was based on a falsehood, I can give you no other opinion on it.

That 26% believe suicide bombings can be justified, is not the same as saying that 26% believe 9/11 was justified. I agree that this number is frighteningly high, but you make a stronger point if you don't draw unsupported conclusions.

Well you are right that most of the muslim societies are becoming radical, but it has some major reasons, For example, Quran is a book with several subjects, So in-order to understand we need interpretation of Quran, Unfortunately in Islam, Four Imams' interpretation is adopted, Imam Hanbal, Imam Shafiye, Imam Hanifa & Imam Maliki. As my prophet once said "Every time(periods) interpretate Quran according to circumstances", Now those Old interpretations are not replaced, Since they are old and not capable of helping people in modern times, Such incidents are occuring, Which of course is devastating, Quran and Sunnah are very simple and easy to understand, But these Imams came up with some harsh and rigid intrepretations for example, Lets look what Quran says about those who don't offer prayers
Quran = Hell is for them, They will be punished
My prophet SAW = God is not pleased with those people and they'll be punished

Now these are the sources, Lets look what Imams brought from these sources

Imam Hanbal : Kill those who don't offer prayers, Wajib-ul-Qatal(allowed to be killed)

Imam Maliki : Don't eat with him, Don't drink in his glass, treat him as he is biggest sinner,

Imam Shafiye: Muslim who don't offer prayers are Dogs, They should be stoned,

Just imagine, Prophet and Quran the two main sources are not asking people to be harsh, or killing those who don't offer prayers, but making them afraid of life after death, But these Imams asking for worldly punishment.
Now this is just one issue, There are several things which are made harsh and rigid,
