Why in the world would somebody who doesn't know you loan you their credit card. Are you for real? Really... Sit there and think about the question you just asked.
Now for some common sense... Go out and buy her a prepaid phone.

Not a very valid reason for someone to lend you a credit card.
1. It is for something that is pretty much pointless. A kid gets to have a cell phone. Not a kid gets a new heart or a kid gets to go to school. It is a kid gets a cell phone. Basically a toy.
2. Whoever lends their credit card number will have the liability of this phone to deal with. If you decide to stop paying for the phone then the person who lent you the credit card will have to deal with the consequences.
3. If you really need to get a phone and do not have a credit card, then go with a prepaid service. You can do that. I have done it before and many of my friends have done it.

You don't need a credit card - just buy a prepaid phone. If you add it up, the 3 year term you have to sign up for to get a "free" phone more than pays for the phone, plus, if your child is getting the phone, a prepaid phone will eliminate the worry of the child creating huge phone bills for you - once the prepaid minutes are used up, that's it until you get more.

Plenty of prepaid phones around at Best Buy, Wal Mart, etc. you don't need a credit card, just buy them and pay for the service. Virgin Mobile has this service as well.

you can buy prepaid cell phones at a store and pay with cash. or buy a prepaid credit card they sell them at like walgreens and lots of other places.
