Most Satanic churches are not tax-exempt. In their eyes, accepting tax-exempt status gives the government the right to meddle in their affairs, which goes against the Satanic philosophies of self-sufficiency. If a group doesn't have this status, I doubt that they can receive federal dollars.

*Crowley* I dug your answer. The truth is the Church of Satan could have tax exempt status if it wanted to accept it. We do not. We believe that all religions should be strictly taxed.
