I replaced it 5 months ago went to drive my car this morning got out got back in and it won't budge from park

The only thing that comes to mind is did you park against a curb or something? This will cause back ward pressure against the park locking rod it the trans. It's like trying to turn the door knob to open a door with someone pushing hard against the door. It makes the latch hard to slip out of the door jamb. Try this. Unlock the ignition switch, grab the shift lever and jerk it fast and hard out of park. Or lift one front wheel off the ground to release the tension off the park rod.
If that doesn't work, dose you're car happen to have a shift lock? If so it may be malfunctioning.
