I have a living room with no windows. There is very little light from a window in the kitchen. Are there any plants that will grow in there?

Chinese Evergreen
Spathphylum
varieties of dracenae
pothos
the first three come in varying sizes for
floor plants or table plants.
Rotate occasionally so ones farthest
from light will get a little more

You could try searching for "full shade" plants and see what comes up.

Or, you could get a lamp that will be good for the plant (don't think a standard incandescent/florescent will help it grow, but you can get other light bulbs that will)

Try a philodendron. Hostas are also shade lovers. Some ferns do well in shade, too.
