No it shouldn't
a metal detector is looking for specific metals and the metal used in your mouth isn't one that should be detected

No It shouldn't... But why don't you call your dentist and have She or he cement it back in. It wont hurt and shouldn't cost you anything (if they put it in) this way you wont have to worry about it while you are away. If time is a factor in your case you can go to the drug store and pick up some temp. cement and do it yourself, but be careful.... it does not hold as well as the real thing. Good Luck

it shouldn't. I've known people with metal-framed partial dentures who never set off a metal detector.
