You do have a right to know what showed up in your drug test. It all realtes to the HIPPA laws and they have to release any personal information to the patient if you show up in the office with identification they absolutely cannot deny you access to your information.

Mike is right. The hydrocodone, which is the generic for the narcotic drug Vicodin, will show on a urine drug test. The only way for them to not report this as a positive is for them to verify the medication was actually prescribed to you by your doctor. So, call the clinic NOW and explain to them that you forgot to mention the Vicodin and provide them with the prescribing doctor's information!

Good luck!

unless you TOLD THEM at the time of the test that you are taking pain killer Hydrocodone BY PRESCRIPTION, and showed them the bottle or a COPY of the prescription or a note from the doctor that prescribed it, they found that substance while testing. It is ILLEGAL without a prescription.
