My dad is terminally ill but we are trusting God for a healing, that either he heals him himself, or gives the Dr. the wisdom and skill to do so. But if it is not Gods will for this to be, I pray for the stenght and understanding to deal with the lose. He is understandingly down on faith a little right now and I would like a verse or chapter or even a book if it is fitting to uplift his fait. Any suggestions

Please keep us in your prayers...
Thanks

Psalm 41:3 Jehovah himself will sustain him upon a divan of illness; All his bed you will certainly change during his sickness.

Isaiah 41:10, 13 Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not gaze about, for I am your God. I will fortify you. I will really help you. I will really keep fast hold of you with my right hand of righteousness.’ For I, Jehovah your God, am grasping your right hand, the One saying to you, ‘Do not be afraid. I myself will help you.’

Praying for you and your family
Psalm 16 is remarkable for what you ask.
If God's "perfect healing" is in store for your Dad,
the later chapters of Psalms bring wonderful comfort.

Parables of Lazarus, the woman with an issue of blood for 12 years, the story of Tabitha raised up, the Centurion's Servant...
healings and miracles are the norm in the Gospels. That "God's will be done" is the best prayer of all.
Blessings to you.

"But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and THE LIFTER UP OF MY HEAD." Ps 3:3.

I will pray that God's will be done and that God will give him peace and comfort.
