Would it be a sin to go to a nude beach, or be naked in other places where it's not against the law? What about a nudist colony...yes, there's even a Christian nudist colony out there. (Crazy quakers.) In the 500 years after Christ died, they performed mass baptisms without a single article of clothing.
Is there any reason that would be a sin? Is this about causing someone to "stumble"?

Correct me if I am wrong, did God create these bodies?
The body is beautiful and nothing to be ashamed of, even my old and not in the best shape one.
Fundies are indeed sexually repressed.

According to the Old Testament at least, it is a sin and a disgrace to show ones "nakedness" in public -- especially if your naked body can be seen by your children.
The New Testament warns several times that Christians should dress "modestly" and not try to tempt other people into lust.

Some examples:
Genesis 3:10 & 9:22-23
Exodus 20:26
Isaiah 47:3
Hosea 2:3
Nahum 3:5
Habakkuk 2:15-16
1 Timothy 2:9-10

Take the Garden of Eden as exemplary: Going naked is fine if you and everyone else at the beach are without sin. Otherwise, a fig leaf is recommended.

I don't know about a sin, but the thought of some 400 pound momma strolling nude on the beach should be downright illegal. The psychiatric problems you could suffer from seeing such a sight alone could damage one mentally for years.

I think it really depends on the situation. I also think that the human body can be a very beautiful thing. It does not disturb me to see it viewed as art or as natural - not disturbing at all.
That said - every time I've ever been to a strip club (I lived an hour from New Orleans for 11+ years y'all - gimme a break) I'd say to whomever I was with "I hope her Mother is dead and has no idea she's doing this." But I think it's because those nude women are being degraded and living a lifestyle that comes with drugs, addiction and completely mentally and emotionally unhealthy relationships. It's sad. It's dark. And it really does break my heart.
EDIT: I LOVE Gorgeous TX Woman's answer. Hit the nail on the head! That's what I mean by natural.

I think they are so sexually repressed (with noted exceptions) some might assert that this would cause lust, thus inspire nothing but sin if it wasn't one itself.
Of course this is absurd, as anyone who's ever been to a nudist colony knows that Lust is the last thing your going to feel when seeing 99% of those people naked.

Well, the Bible does say something about being modest, but I would think that seeing someone naked could lead a person to lust, so I would say that public nudity is a sin. I mean when Adam and Eve realized they were naked, natural instinct was to cover themselves.

Nudity is a social thing... How would it be a sin to run around in the skin God created for you? And if someone's going to "stumble" that's their fault alone. I'm tired of hearing "blame the victim". People must grow up and take responsibility for their own actions.
And - GO QUAKERS! (Seriously, I admire Quakers because they are peace loving and treat women equally. They are more like original Christians than most others out there.)

I have heard the argument that forsaking clothing brings you closer to the sinless state of Adam and Eve before the fall. I do not buy it but I understand the logic.
Making Adam and Eve cover their nakedness with fig leaves was part of God's Plan; why fight the Plan?
ADD: LOL. I like Gay Crockoduck's answer!
Apparently seeing eachothers' nakedness causes your decedents to become slaves. *wink*

For me it's surely a sin, but for someone who is decent looking it's not.
Seriously, I find nothing wrong with nudity. Perhaps it leads to lust or something ... although personally I'm on good terms with lust, too. I'm just saying.
Add, to Caleb's Mom: Adam and Eve covered themselves because they were ashamed of their sin. Being naked was not the sin; disobeying God was.
