OMG is that diet making the rounds again? Well I have known people who used it. It worked for the short term. But the weight came right back. It's best really to make a life style change. Eat right and exercise. I know, a quick fix sounds great but they just don't last.

I tried it and lost 8 pounds. I now no longer can look at or smell any kind of cabbage or vegetable soup. After eating all that soup it is very ailing and you seem to have to gag it down. This diet does help you lose weight but it is a temporary fix and seems to make some people very irritable. Good luck maybe try that new Alli stuff--not sure how it works though.

If you are trying for a "wow" factor for a reunion or something like that a diet like the cabbage soup diet can help. I did it and lost 10 lbs in one week. Over the next two weeks though, almost all the weight came back- net loss was about two pounds. And be prepared to raise the roof with some flatulence.

The diet is not very effective for long term weight loss....however, it is a wonderful detoxifier....made me feel wonderful for quite some time.
Give it a try, but for weight loss, you really need a plan you can stick with as a life style...a modified Atkins (not so strict, but absolutely no raw suger or simple carbs) it has helped me stay in a size 4 for almost 7 years!! I call it the non-white diet...the only white food I eat is cheese , sour cream and ranch dressing. No sugar-potatoes (except sweet potatoes) no white rice-no white bread and no pasta.

Oh my goodness, is that thing still around? Bad nutrition is always ineffective because any weight you lose comes right back on when you go back to eating the way you are supposed to.
