do demons go directly to the person, or do they wander on earth till they find a soul? and what provokes them? sin? conflict? unintentionally going agianst Gods will?

The demons would have to indwell them like the Holy Spirit does when a person gets Saved. Remember only a lost person can be posessed.

people get possessed in rare cases, it is not so common as you may think. But playing with occult things is a good way to open the door. Sin dont make you possessed. what provokes them is a saintly and holy life the person who ever he/she may be. If you go unintentionally against God's will, God will protect you, and keep leading you. Its not gona cause possession. conflict, is just something we go thru in this life, God didnt promise a life without troubles and conflicts, he just promised the strength to get thru it.

In the book of Job God ask Satan what he was doing and he said he was roaming the earth trying to find someone to devour. In Jesus day many were possessed with demons and He cast them out. Lev. 19:31 regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the lord your God.
The bible makes reference to demons going in and coming out of people.
Witchcraft is an abomination against God and he hates it.

In the belief that i have, alongside with human in this world live another species that is the genies. They lives just like humans.They have certain social system, also there is good genies and bad genies. The bad ones like to cross the dimension and disturb human beings thru posessed phenomenons. If u ever heard about ghost, this genies also who like to frighten human by changing their form into the dead ones. If we can see a ghost (a transformed genies) we can actually hurt them. So thats why ghost only show themselves to the one who is scared and frightened, its just their act of fun. If they show themselves to the courageous person these genies are afraid to be hurted because if their transform into human frequency and form they are risky to be able to be hurted by human.

people are only posessed by their own guilt. there are no demons other than personal demons. some members of religious sects aren't capable of emotionally dealing with inner turmoil and guilt. posession and subsequent exorcism are symbolic therapies used to to "deliver" the person from the grips of "evil". it's the only way they believe they can cope with their inner struggle be it a closet addiction to child pornography or beating their wife, etc....
they blame posession for their personal misgivings and use exorcism as a spiritual shock therapy and way to act out their internal strife. once their "demon(s)" is/are released by supposed divine powers, then they feel a sense of relief.

demons come into you when your not filled with the holy spirit. when we leave god aside, participate in sin, witch craft, idol worship, etc. we open ourselves up for a whole host of demons. thats why we must protect ourselves, and call on the lord to fill us and keep us safe.

They are psychotic and primitive mythology attributes it to a mythological being taking over their mind. They used to blame same beings for disease until the germ theory came along and destroyed that idea. Modern psychology and the advances in psychotropic medications destroy the idea of possession, but unfortunately people still believe such nonsense. Any success with exorcism is due to the placebo effect.

It's amazing but they alway seem to infect gullible, mentally unstable believers.
It's very similar to ghosts who will only turn up on Most Haunted but not in Eastenders.
Demons and spirits are very picky dont you know?
