Why would the Master of the Uinverse need your money?
Tithing is just a myth created by the churches to gain income.
God blesses all equally no matter if they give to a church or not.
Need proof? Just stop giving any tithing and see if bad stuff starts happening.
Tithing is like paying God for protection, kind of like a Mafia extortion racket. This is insane. God is not some Mafia Don sitting in a mansion counting the cash he has scammed from poor people who can barely afford to live.
When O When will you learn mankind? Your God is a false god. The only true God is One, and does not require any help from you to be One.

He continues to take care of us, on what little money we have- and I am always amazed to see how at the end of every paycheck we still have some money in that account and it just truly amazes me! We also have one income coming in and it is a small one....but we know God will provide and we pray continually to spend our money wisely-- on needs! God has definately blessed us in that we have a home, 2 cars and food to eat! That right there is a blessing! I remind myself of people all over the world who have nothing....who would die for a piece of bread or jug of water. This reminds me never to complain or want! When I "want" something I remind myself I do not need it! hehe And whatever little money we do have, I always tithe something when I go to church-- and am never worried that check will bounce : )

Since I have started tithing, God has made sure that I always have money to pay the bills, and he has kept things from wearing out, and He has blessed me in other unexpected ways.

My family had a year where we were extremely short on money, I mean, we ate PB&J all the time because that was all we could afford. My parents kept tithing (giving the first 10% of their income) the whole time, no matter how many bills we had to pay. During this time, my dad's stepsister came to live with us (another expense). She got a job at a catering company. She was able to bring home the leftovers after a party. We ate tri-tip, gourmet sandwiches, pizzas, fresh fruits and veggies, side dishes to die for, and fancy desserts. We couldn't afford food, and we ate like kings. Even now we don't eat like that!

The simple act of giving is a blessing in and of itself. Isaiah 56:1-6, Malachi 3.

When I was younger we had an evangelist come to church. He was selling cassette tapes of his sermons for $50. I wanted to buy a set but it was going to take all my money. My mom said if at the end of the revival there is a set left you can buy it. There was one set left the last day of revival. I spent all my money and bought it.
Not long after I was cleaning my room and picked up my empty penny bank, I had taken everything out to buy the tapes. I realized there was something in it. I opened it up and there was my money in it. For years after that I would open drawers in my room and find money. God repaid the money I spent on those tapes many times over.
You can choose to believe this or not. It is true though.

I don't tithe but I give money to the church (cheerfully in my own heart what I can) and he blesses me financially as well.

1. You can not buy God's blessing by tithing or giving money.
2. You are blessed when your gifts of generosity are sincere and unselfishly motivated. That's the blessing: you're unselfishness. Unselfishness is an amazing gift.

Theres a good ol hippy song entitled Signs by the five man electrical band. Near the end, the singer ducks into a church and listens to a sermon. After it was over they passed around the plate and he didn't have a penny to pay. He took out a peice of paper and made up his own little sign. It said thank you lord for thinking about me, I'm alive and doing just fine.
Thats it, thats my answer. You don't have to giove money to men to have god like you.

Before I did so I was always caught up in debt, always with out enough money for my bills and such, but after I started tithing I have always had exactly what I need when ever I need it. When you give, you get.
