If you look at both of their professional careers, it is undeniably Smoke.

Smoke has won a championship title in just about every series he has raced, to include IRL, Sprint, etc.

Happy has won a Busch title.

As for the attitudes stated by others, Happy is just as much of an a$$ as Smoke is. Why do you think he has the nickname "Happy"? Because he has been an a$$ and jerk the same as Smoke. However both have worked on their image to some degree.

As for Smoke being whiney, I would say you need to look at Gordon. That boy whines the most I have ever seen, just like a spoiled punk.

as for nascarmom.harvickfan, blah-blah, doesn't even have a CLUE what they're talking about. BTW, Harvick got his name from the other drivers

The nice thing about NASCAR over other sports such as baseball is for the most part everything depends on the driver. Granted, pit stops, engines, and tires matter.... not to mention a little luck to avoid other driver's misfortunes. But the driver is the key. With other sports like football you may have a great quarterback but terrible offensive line or no defense. So the stats look terrible even though the quarterback with another offensive line might be better than Joe Montana throwing to a Jerry Rice.

To compare NASCAR drivers all you have to do is compare career stats. Except for one minor detail.... Earnhardt Sr. and Petty both won their 7 championships under similar point systems. Because of the new system in 2004, Gordon did not get his 5th Championship and may not get what would have been his 6th this year under the same point system Earnhardt and Petty raced under. So when you compare Petty and Earnhardt Sr. to Gordon it is not 100% fair to count championships.

And to answer your question between Stewart and Harvick, Stewart has the numbers to make the claim of being a better driver.

I like Harvick as a driver and his personality too. However Stewart has a couple of those big trophies and I think is the favorite to win his third this year.

That's easy look up Career wins. Not happy yet look at championships. Still not happy look at Career top 5's, top 10's. OK how about Career average finish. By looking at those stats it looks as though Tony Stewart not only leads but dominates Kevin Harvick in NASCAR.

Put both of them on the market, as free agents, and I guarantee you, every owner out there would be giving up the bank for Tony Stewart. Harvick isn't even in the same league.

This one's not even close, Tony Stewart is much better with 2 championships. Look at some stats and decide for yourself. I'm not a fan of Smoke either.

KEVIN HARVICK
I know smoke has more wins and championships, but harvick is young and has a life ahead of him. If Dale Sr. would still be alive Harvick and Dale would make a great team for RCR. At least Harvick didn't CRAP IN HIS PANTS when he won the race and had to clean up before he went to Victory Lane, like Tony....
