my hi-8 video camera fell on the carpeted floor last night and the only thing wrong with it now is the casing is messed up at the top. there are 3 screws near the area were its protruding out. we tried snaping it back into place. it looks like an easy fix but i was wondering if it would be safe enough to unscrew those and snap it back in place. Or should i have a professional do it?

Try the screws. Not likely that will even take the case all the way apart. There may even be tabs in one half of the case that snap into the other half, so, with the screws loose or clear out, it may still take a "smart" tap or so to close the case and then tighten the screws.

individually, i could choose for the turn Mino HD [i've got confidence they have some that carry one hundred twenty minutes of video, yet others, that are much less high priced, carry 30- and 60- minutes of video]. The digital camera itself is approximately $199.ninety 9 [that's what i've got considered it at], and this is not any longer water resistant. yet, they make a water-resistant case for it, and that's extremely proper and is meant to paintings properly. the costliest cost that i've got ever considered on a style of circumstances is approximately $50.00. i've got dealt with a turn formerly, and that they do no longer seem to be cumbersome in any respect. they have a semi-great purple button that information, and you are going to be able to apply the digital camera to do the basics [no enhancing, of direction. you are able to delete video clips, play them back, of course checklist, etc]. i've got study many comments, and none of them are discouraging. Like I mentioned, the optimum means flash reminiscence is one hundred twenty minutes. you additionally can purchase a tripod, and with which you would be waiting to attach it to a vehicle. solid success! (:

If it's HI-8, then go ahead and tear it apart. Even if you mess something up, it would be way cheaper to just buy a new one then to have a professional try to fix it.
